This video essay explores different visual representations and their roles. Narratives on climate change and disasters concerning water are constructed visually on different levels. Models and maps give us an understanding of analysis and prediction. Documentaries construct a historical or personal observation. And cartoons bring a strong visual narrative on the level of experience. What is included and what is left out in these methods of visualizing, and therefore perceiving?
